Biblical Interpretation
Biblical Interpretation, Draw upon your reading; and at least four other peer-reviewed, reliable resources (two of the suggested readings and two that you find) to weave together the importance of biblical interpretation in the context of your life and ministry. Be sure to share details from your own experiences while balancing that with the academic side of this course. In this course, the accent will be upon “genre”. You should notice that this is the focus of Fee and Stuart, and it needs to become your focus as well. We will learn about “Narratives”, “Poetry”, “Wisdom Literature”, “Prophecy”, “Gospel”, “Epistles” and “Apocalyptic” in this course. You have encountered these before, whenever you have read the Bible, you just likely didn’t notice it. Be sure you think about writing to be read, not writing to be heard. There is a major difference. In this assignment, we are looking at how you have grasped the idea of biblical interpretation. If you think we are asking you to recount the ‘action’ of the OT, up to our present point that is not the case. Use several research tools to integrate fully into the paper, with a bibliography, footnoting in Turabian style.

Research: If research is required, the student makes use of required and collateral resources.

Included citations and references and written in the correct Turabian style and reflects an excellent written style (complete sentences and a wide variety of sentence types) and proper usage and format (as appropriate) throughout.
