The role of a juror is that after they have heard all the augments and viewed all the evidence in a case it is their job to decide among the six or twelve people whether or not the person on trial is innocent or guilty. Another thing in some cases that they decide is what the punishment should be if they find the defendant guilty of the charge(s) against them. When a jury is in the courtroom people usually tend to conduct themselves in a different manner than they would if they weren’t in there, such as when a witness is on the stand testifying for the defense and the defendant starts crying; the demeanor of the defendant at other times during the case could sway a juror one way or the other. Jurors are a very important part of the court system process, and their influence in the court system is great because they are the people that in the end make the final decision about guilt or innocence and in some major cases can make decisions regarding life or deat………………………………….
