Interview a child who is 4 – 8 years of age

Interview a child who is 4 – 8 years of age and who is currently attending an early childhood program or elementary school. You must obtain permission to interview the child. Ask the following questions and share the child’s responses as a discussion board post. Do not use the child’s name or any identifying factors when you post your response. Introduce us to your child without giving personal information (boy or girl, age, day care or school, etc.) Interview question – Tell me about your classroom. (What do you like? What would you change if you could?) Tell me about your teacher. Do you think that your teacher enjoys teaching and working with children? How do you know? What does your teacher do when a child misbehaves? Do you think that is fair? Why or why not? Ask any other questions you think should be included. Share your findings with our class. How does this child’s experience compare with the practices we have discussed in this course? Explain. Peer responses are encouraged, but not required for this post. Support your statements with evidence from the required studies and your research.
