� the use of fibre-optic cables

� examples of how major organisations store our data.

Choose two topics from the list above. For each topic you choose write no more than 200 words that briefly introduce the technology involved and how it is used in the internet. A key point you need to explain is scalability. With the large scale of the internet, how does the technology ensure that networking is actually possible?

You must use one example from the audio book to illustrate each topic you choose. You may make comparisons to other technologies you have learnt about from the block.
